Unwanted Wildlife!
A simple solution to a big problem - Hair Lice!
Prevention is better than cure - Sorry to sound like your Granny but its fact!!
Used regularly Tea Tree shampoo is an effective way to ward off pesky critters. However, if you do get a visit from these unwanted guest here's what to do.
- Purchase a very fine Lice comb sold in any Pharmacy.
- Apply a generous layer of Any Oil combined with a few drops of Tea Tree Oil,comb through very thoroughly. Place a plastic cap on and preferably sleep in this mixture overnight.
- On waking or 12 hrs later, apply shampoo first to dry hair - This is very important part otherwise removal of the oil will be very difficult. Add a little water and start to lather, it will need a couple of washes to truly get this out.
- Repeat this all in three days and then a further three days.
One small dab of Tea Tree Oil behind each ear is also an excellent deterrent. If your little person is very sensitive please dilute the tea Tree in a carrier oil, or add to a water spray.
This allows for the full life cycle of the Louse from Egg through to Adulthood.
