Peter Ferlow shows solar system performance updates for 2024
We haven't posted anything in a little bit but I'd like to do a recap and review on how our photovoltaic gridtie solar system is performing since installation in 2020-2021.
Here are the performance numbers from 2022 until November 2024 showing kwh the system made.
Just to show you how much energy we make on peak days in the summer here's the July 2024 monthly numbers:
On a really productive day the system makes over 240kwh of energy. If your tesla has a 100kwh battery that's the same as charging 2.4 teslas from flat to fully charged. If you have a larger 40kwh nissan leaf then we can charge the equivalent of 6 totally dead leaf's in one day. Pretty neat stuff.
